OASAP: A Trip to the Grocery Store

Happy Saturday!!!

Yesterday, I took a trip to my local Whole Foods Market to pick up a few things.

Since I was already wearing my new tee from Oasap, I figured that I should just take you guys along with me...

SOOO LETS GO!!!

I know there's A BUNCH of pictures of desserts and sweet things, but I promise you guys that I steered clear of them... (Okay, okay, you caught me. I may have bought an ice cream or two. GUILTY!)

It's always fun to go grocery shopping at Whole Foods.

They have free tastes in every corner and most of their products are natural and organic, which is extremely beneficial to our bodies.

They even have organic diapers. I had to get some for my baby cousins. 

My brother also made me try this green colored juice which looked soooooo DISGUSTING, BUT tasted soooooo GOOD! I ended up buying it. Haha.

They also have TOMS at Whole Foods and you'll always seem to find me in that aisle. :D

OH MY GOSH you guys!!! This t-shirt is super duper comfortable.

The fabric is soooooooo soft.

I was expecting the material to be somewhat thin, so I was shocked to see that it's actually pretty thick.

I LOVE that it's long enough to be a dress. Perfect for those sweltering hot days where you just want to be naked. Haha. (TMI?)

This shirt is perfect for running errands or just lounging around. 

It is great for a casual look.

I wore my tee with my New York & Company floral high-waisted shorts.

It's very colorful and you guys know me and my colors. ;)

I also cuffed the sleeves. 

Lately, I've just been loving that look. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EXCUSE MY UNGROOMED TOENAILS!!! 

I still need to take a trip to the nail salon.

I wore my hair in a bun. And I added a tan headband just for a touch of girly-ness. 

Oh my gosh, and look!!! I GOT BANGS!!! 

I'm very fickle-minded, so I was going back and forth whether I should get it, but I finally decided to just cut it. 

So far, I'm really loving how it looks. :D

For jewelry, I have my usual wrist accessories -- my watch and a couple of gold bangles.

I also have my vintage Polo Ralph Lauren shoulder bag.

And for my shoes, I went all bright and summery with my neon green saltwater sandals from Shoedaca.

Sleeveless Striped Chiffon Shirt

I have been wanting a "referee' shirt for so long now, that's why I opted for this one when I was doing my shopping at Persunmall.

Originally, I was looking for a long sleeved one, but I figured that since we are currently in the hottest season of the year, I should go for the sleeveless version, obviously. Haha.

I get really conscious with exposing my buttocks area, so I'm picky when it comes to tops like these.

I like it to be long enough to cover my bum. It's a good thing that this particular shirt does.

Since the top is already black & white, I wanted to add a pop of color, so I paired it with my bright coral shorts from Topshop.

For earrings, I kept it simple by wearing a pair of gold bow studs that my Aunt gave me on my 9th birthday, I believe. (I've had it for a REEEEAAAALLLYYYY long time. Haha).

I also have my usual arm candy that consists of my white Geneva watch, my Ralph Lauren gold bangle, a white leather wrap-around bracelet, and a bunch of other random bangles.

My Polo Ralph Lauren shoulder bag is actually from my mom. She's had it ever since I can even remember.

I love the vintage feel that it gives off.

Stoked about the AVON superSHOCK

Since we talked about practicing the winged eyeliner look on my previous post, it makes perfect sense to talk about my current eye/gel liner product, right? YES!!!

AVON SuperSHOCK eye liner

I bought my superSHOCK eye/gel liner in blackened metal from Avon.com.

This is actually my very first eyeliner pot. 

I used to just go for drugstore liquid liners, but I wanted to try something more grown-up, I guess. Haha.

The first time I tried it, I thought that it would be more liquid-y. Instead, it had more of a hard consistency.

I like how the color is not too harsh.

It glides on easily, however, I have to go over it at least 2 times to get the shade that I want.

I also found that wetting my eyeliner brush a little helps darken the color.

The color is a light charcoal with lots of shimmer in it.

Now, those of you out there who are eyeliner whizzes know that smudging/smearing is an important factor when it comes to picking out an eyeliner product.

Well, I am happy to tell you guys that this liner does not smudge at all.

My eyelids tend to get greasy as the day progresses, however, this eyeliner does not budge one bit.

It doesn't come with an applicator, so you will need a brush or something to apply it.

I use my Sigma eyeliner E05 brush. 

I actually got this for free from IMATS, so yay!!! 

I'm finally putting it to good use. :D

So far, I am totally loving this product.

I definitely recommend it, especially for those of you who are beginners.

It's super easy to work with and you don't have to worry about applying too much like when working with liquid liners.

I give this product a 4.5 out of 5!

Practice Makes Perfect: Get Catty with Lauren Conrad

Like Lauren Conrad, I am a big fan of the winged eyeliner look.
I think it looks great with light and simple makeup.
It could also be paired with bright, red lips for a dramatic approach.

HOWEVER, unlike Lauren Conrad, I am so not a pro at this particular eyeliner method.
There are times when I get it perfect, but most of the time, it's nothing but A BIG BLOB OF FAIL. Haha.

I know a lot of you guys out there aren't so good at it either 

(C'mon, don't be shy. You're not the only one), so here is a little "How-To" video from Lauren Conrad...

I'm definitely not going to give up on this.
I'm gonna practice and practice and practice and practice...until I master it.

LC can do it "sans mirror," so that's going to be our goal, okay gals?! :D
